Sedum is an amazing plant, hardy and durable it makes the perfect choice to create a low maintenance garden or ground cover over using bark mulch or gravels. What makes our species of Sedum so useful, is its tendency to grow only two to a maximum of three inches in hight and form dense colonies to keep out a wide verity of weeds and other plants.

Its these attributes that make Sedum an excellent choice for your garden however, Sedum also provides a number of other benefits to your garden. Sedum is drought and frost resistant which adds to the low maintenance label and with our seven species, it will provide a number of different colours throughout the year.

You will never have to mow Sedum or take much care of it at all once it gets established. We have not found it to migrate beyond our beds within a four year span so you don't have to worry about it getting out of control, just sit back and enjoy the lovely mild aromas and the colours it will provide you all year round.

Note: Sedum is perfect for honey bee, butterfly and other nectar loving creatures. We all have a responsibility to contribute to our environment, and help out all of the different lifeforms living within it. Sedum provides many nourishing foods long after most of the other flowering plants have stopped blooming near the end of the year, as such, Sedum makes a wonderful addition to any home or urban area for everyone.

How do I buy it?

Sedum is bought in trays of clippings, the clippings are then spread or planted into a two inch layer of our Sedum soil that we can supply to you or if your area/soil is appropriate for planting Sedum you can plant it directly into the ground like any other plant.
